| Job | Typical range | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| Business lockout | $110 to $195 | Opening a storefront, office or back door after we confirm you are allowed in |
| Master key system | $85 to $175 | Per door. Each lock pinned so staff keys open only their doors and a master opens all |

| Panic bar | $150 to $350 | Exit device fitted to a commercial door so it opens with one push |
Typical ranges. Your exact total is quoted on the phone before we drive out. For a bigger project, like a full master key system, we ask for a door count and lock brands so the quote is right.
Your quote is the total for the job. That means the trip to you, the labor, and the standard parts or keys the job needs. If you are getting a car key, the quote covers the key, the cutting and the programming. If you are getting locks rekeyed, it covers the new pins and the new keys.
What is not included is anything you did not ask for. If our technician finds a second problem on site, like a cracked strike plate or a worn ignition, they tell you what it is and what it costs. You decide. Nothing gets added to the bill without a yes from you.
These are the things we ask about on the phone, so the price you hear is the price you pay.
We work Sunday to Thursday 7am to 11pm and Friday 7am to 5pm. A late evening call can cost more than a mid-morning one.
We are based in Port St. Lucie. A call in Hobe Sound, Indiantown or Melbourne is a longer drive than one in St. Lucie West, and the price reflects that.
A standard Kwikset or Schlage knob is quick. High-security cylinders, mortise locks, storm doors and smart locks take more time or parts.
An older car key with no chip is simple. A transponder key needs programming, and a push-to-start smart key costs more to buy and program.
If you still have one working car key, adding a key is easier. If every key is gone, we have to make a key from scratch and program it, which takes longer.
Rekeying five locks costs more than one, but each extra lock is priced lower than the first because the trip is already covered.
Because you should know what you are paying before a van pulls into your driveway. When you are locked out, it is hard to say no to a stranger standing at your door. A firm price on the phone takes that pressure away.
To give you that price, we ask a few questions. Where are you? What is locked or lost? What brand is the lock? For a car, what is the year, make, model and VIN? The answers let us price the real job, not a guess. If what we find on site is different from what was described, we stop and talk to you before doing anything more. If you would rather send the details in writing, use our quote request form.
Some locksmith ads promise a service call so cheap it sounds like a typo. That number is not the price of your job. It is the price of getting someone to your door.
Consumer agencies and locksmith groups describe the same pattern. A call center quotes a low price on the phone. A subcontractor shows up, often in an unmarked car, and says the job is more complicated than expected. Then the price climbs. Some go straight to drilling the lock, because a ruined lock has to be replaced on the spot, at their price. Many push for cash.
A real total on the phone is the simplest fix for all of this. If a company will not tell you the full price before they drive out, keep looking. Florida has no state locksmith license, so you cannot look up a license number. Ask for a business name instead, and expect a marked vehicle and ID at the door. Our page on how to spot a fake locksmith has more warning signs.
We accept [PAYMENT METHODS]. You pay after the work is done and tested, and the amount matches your phone quote unless you asked for more work.
FAQ
No. The total we quote on the phone already includes the trip to you. We do not add a trip charge at the door. The only way the price changes is if you ask for more work on site, or if the job turns out to be different from what was described. In that case we tell you first and you decide.
The first lock typically runs $95 to $150, which includes the service call. Each extra lock on the same visit is $25 to $50. Count your front door, back door, garage entry door and any deadbolts. Tell us that number on the phone and we will give you the exact total before we drive out. See rekey and lock change.
Two cars of the same make and year can take different keys depending on the trim. A base model may use a chip key while a higher trim uses a push-to-start fob. The VIN tells us exactly which key and programming your car needs, so the price we quote is right. You can find it on your registration or insurance card.
Yes. If you already have a deadbolt, knob or lever, we can install it for $75 to $150, which is a typical range for labor. Tell us the brand and model when you call. Some cheap locks and some online smart locks are hard to fit or do not last, so we will tell you honestly if we have concerns.
When you still have a working key, we can usually add a new key to the car's memory in fewer steps. When every key is lost, we have to cut a key from scratch, then program it from the start, sometimes with a security code. It takes more time and equipment. Our car key programming page explains the process.
Not for the job you described. The price you hear on the phone is the price you pay for that job. If our technician finds something different, like a different lock than described or a second problem, they stop and explain it with the cost. Nothing extra happens unless you say yes.
