Local knowledge
Yes. Indiantown is one of the farthest places we cover, and we are upfront about that. From central Port St. Lucie the trip is about 28 to 30 miles. We usually take I-95 south, cut west on Martin Highway and Allapattah Road, and come into the village on Warfield Boulevard, which is State Road 710. Plan on 45 to 50 minutes once we are rolling.
Indiantown is a village in western Martin County. It became a town of its own on December 31, 2017, the first new municipality in the county in more than 40 years. About 6,560 people lived here at the 2020 census. State Road 76, also called Kanner Highway, runs east from Port Mayaca on Lake Okeechobee through Indiantown to Stuart. The lake shore at Port Mayaca is about 12 miles west of town.
Tell us what is locked, lost or broken, and give the full street address in 34956. If you are at a job site or a field with no clear address, tell us the nearest crossroad on Warfield Boulevard or Kanner Highway.
We quote the full job on the phone, drive included. The price you agree to is the price you pay. No extra trip charge shows up at the door.
We tell you honestly when we can be there based on where our technician is. Planned work, like a rekey, can be booked for a set day and time.
Before we arrive, get your ID and proof of ownership or residence where you can reach them. It keeps the visit short.
Since we cannot pop back in 10 minutes, we load the van for your exact job and test everything before we leave.
Ranch country, booked with a clear arrival window.
A long drive only pays off if we can finish the job on the first visit. This list helps.
What we do here
Every service below is mobile. We bring the tools and parts to your door, driveway or parking lot in Indiantown.
Locked out of a house, car or business. Damage-free entry first, proof of ownership every time.
Deadbolts, knobs, sliders and storm doors fitted and repaired at your home.
New pins so old keys stop working, or new hardware when the lock is worn out.
Keypad and Wi-Fi deadbolts fitted, aligned and set up with your codes.
Remote head keys, flip keys and push to start fobs, programmed on site.
Storefront and office locks, closers, panic bars and staff change rekeys.
Master key systems, keypads and fob readers for offices and rentals.
Keys for work trucks and family pickups top the list. Indiantown’s economy leans heavily on seasonal farm work, and Stuart, the county seat, is about 22 miles away. Losing the only key to a truck out on a job site can stop a whole day. We cut and program transponder keys, remote head keys and key fobs on site for most makes. We do not service BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche or Mini.
Next come homes. Census estimates show about 1,800 homes in the village. Roughly half are single-family houses, and close to a third are mobile or manufactured homes. Most were built between 1970 and 2000, so a lot of locks have been in service for decades. Older Kwikset and Schlage locks usually rekey well. Worn-out or broken sets get replaced.
Then the small businesses in town: shops, offices and service counters. These calls are usually about rekeying after an employee leaves, a stuck storefront lock, or a panic bar that will not latch. We can also set up a master key system so the owner carries one key and staff only open what they need.
Call and we will quote the total before we drive out. Sun to Thu 7am to 11pm, Fri 7am to 5pm.
Indiantown began as a Seminole trading post. Settlers arrived in the 1890s. In 1924, railroad man S. Davies Warfield ran the Seaboard Air Line Railroad through town and laid out streets, a school and housing. His Seminole Inn, built in 1926 on what is now Warfield Boulevard, is still standing and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Big plans faded after Warfield died, the land boom ended and the 1928 hurricane hit. Farming carried the town forward. In late 1982 a group of Kanjobal Maya workers from Guatemala came to work in the citrus groves, vegetable farms and ranches, and the community grew from there. Today about two thirds of residents are Hispanic, and more than half speak a language other than English at home.
Energy is part of the story too. FPL bought the Indiantown coal plant in 2017 so it could shut it down, and closed it at the end of 2020. Nearby, FPL’s Martin Next Generation Solar Energy Center went into service in 2010 as the world’s first hybrid solar plant.
For a locksmith, this mix means many different kinds of calls in one village: older houses, manufactured homes, newer single-family streets like those in Booker Park, work trucks and small shops.
We are open Sunday to Thursday 7am to 11pm and Friday 7am to 5pm, closed Saturday. With a drive of nearly an hour each way, a Friday call from Indiantown should come in by early afternoon so we can get there and finish.

We do not promise service in Spanish. If Spanish or Kanjobal is easier for you, it is fine to have a family member, coworker or friend help on the call. The things we need are simple: the address, what is locked or lost, the vehicle year, make and model if it is a car key, and a photo ID when we arrive.
We also serve other parts of Martin County, including Stuart and Palm City, so we are often already headed your way.
FAQ
From central Port St. Lucie the drive is about 28 to 30 miles, usually 45 to 50 minutes. Real arrival time depends on where our technician is when you call. We give you an honest time window on the phone instead of a fast promise, and we tell you if another job will delay us.
Any cost for the longer drive is built into the total we quote on the phone, so you hear it before we leave. Nothing extra is added at the door. If the job turns out different from what was described, we explain why and agree on any change with you before doing more work.
Yes, for most makes. Common truck brands like Ford, Chevy, GMC, Ram, Toyota and Nissan can usually be cut and programmed on site. We need the VIN, your ID and proof that the truck is yours, such as the registration or title. We do not make keys for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche or Mini.
No. Gates, padlocks, chains and farm equipment are not services we offer, and we would rather say so than send a technician on a long drive for a job we do not do. We work on doors for homes and businesses, plus car and truck keys and lockouts.
Yes. Many manufactured homes use thinner doors and a combined knob and deadbolt set that is different from a standard house lock. Tell us it is a manufactured home when you call, and send a photo of the lock if you can, so we bring a set that fits the door the first time.
Our hours are 7am to 11pm from Sunday through Thursday and 7am to 5pm on Friday. Saturday is our day off. Because the drive is close to an hour, calling earlier in the day gives us the best chance to reach you and finish before we close, especially on a Friday.
